A 12-year-old boy was fatally struck by a car while crossing a street in Brooklyn Tuesday, authorities say.
Samuel Cohen-Eckstein was crossing Prospect Park West in Park Slope when he was hit by a white Chevy at about 5 p.m.
The driver remained on the scene, according to cops, and an investigation is continuing.
There had been no arrests or summons issued as of early Wednesday, police said.
