A lonely Tiger Woods has taken to hitting golf balls at night after tumultuous therapy sessions with his wife, according to a new report.
A source Us Weekly that the world’s No. 1 golfer goes to a course near his Windermere, Fla., home and hits balls “to clear his head.”
“He goes after dark so he can’t be seen,” this person said. “For him, what’s more therapeutic than hitting golf balls, the thing he’s best at in the whole world?”
A resident of his exclusive Isleworth gated community told Us that Woods has been spotted “coming by in the early evenings only for their counseling and therapy.” And a source described those sessions as Woods “just apologizing over and over again” to his wife, Elin Nordegren.

The therapy sessions apparently aren’t working because ABC News reported today that a source said a divorce is “100 percent on.”
And Woods is going stir crazy as he spends his days alone, watching cartoons and eating cereal.
A source told The Sun of London they fear the Woods, 33, can’t cope in the wake of his sex scandal.
“There is a real concern among his friends that he is dealing with the situation in a very unhealthy way,” the source said.
Woods is believed to be hiding from public in one of his two US homes in Florida and refuses to watch his favorite sports channel — as it flashes regular updates on his romps.
His friend Charles Barkley, a retired American basketball star player, said: “I’ve been trying to get to him and can’t. It’s very frustrating.”
He wanted to tell Woods: “Hey, man, we love you. If you need anything, pick up the phone.”
Nordegren was said to have previously wanted to give the marriage another chance for the sake of their two children aged two and 10 months but friends say the number of lovers has left her with no choice.

One pal said: “Elin is not going to be one of these ‘Stand by your man’ women. She’s a strong woman, this is beyond embarrassing.”
It is understood she has already spoken to a divorce lawyer to renegotiate her pre-nuptial agreement.
The former model has been photographed without her wedding ring and a removal van has been seen outside the family mansion.
