PSAL boys basketball roundup: Hall sparks Jefferson to rout of Transit Tech

In his return from academic ineligibility, sophomore Thaddeus Hall scored 16 points, leading Thomas Jefferson past Transit Tech, 72-49, in Brooklyn AA boys basketball.

Shamel Williams added 16 points and 14 rebounds, Davontay Grace had 13 points and 12 assists and Dave Coley had 11 points for the Orange Wave, who improved to 9-3 in Brooklyn AA and 15-7 overall. Transit Tech is now 7-6.

Wings Academy 73, Lehman 52: Jordan Aaron had 24 points and seven assists, Del Lewis added 11 points and 10 rebounds and Deonte Houston tallied 14 points, five assists and five steals for Wings Academy (14-2, Bronx AA), which has won 12 straight. Lehman is 5-10.

Forest Hills 70, Bayside 50: Maurice Harkless had 24 points, 10 rebounds and six blocked shots and Jose Torres followed with 14 points and eight rebounds for Forest Hills (10-2) in Queens AA. Bayside fell to 3-10.

Thomas Edison 80, Campus Magnet 73, Overtime: Stephen Nwaukoni had 27 points and 28 rebounds, Cavon Baker notched 18 points and Ede Egharevba 18 points and 13 rebounds for Thomas Edison (8-5) in Queens AA. Campus Magnet (3-9) got 38 points from Sasha Clarida.

Manhattan Center 59, FDA 43: D Armond Player had 19 points and 10 assists and Stanley Stephens added 11 points for Manhattan Center (5-8) in Manhattan AA. FDA is 0-13.

Thurgood Marshall Academy 68, West 50th Street 65: Yunus Hopkinson scored 31 points in a losing effort for West 50th Street (7-7) in Manhattan AA. Thurgood Marshall is 4-9.

Fannie Lou Hamer 62, Bronx, Law & Government 55: Ariel Sanchez had 21 points and Jamaal Lampkin had 12 and 14 rebounds for Fannie Lou Hamer (11-1) in Bronx B East. Bronx, Law & Government is 5-8.

Banana Kelly 61, South Bronx Prep 39: Daniel King scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Derrick Dennis and Josh Gantier each followed with 14 points for Banana Kelly (10-3) in Bronx B East. South Bronx Prep is 3-9.

All City Leadership 90, Juan Morel Campos 79: Dharen Lawson scored 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Denzel Johnson scored 30 points and Javier Lopez Jr. had seven points and 10 assists for All City Leadership (5-6) in Brooklyn B East. Juan Morel Campos, which got 26 points and nine assists from Carl Russell, is 1-10.

Medgar Evers 41, Clara Barton 38: Sherard Headley had 13 points and Olusegun Ajayi had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Medgar Evers (8-5) in Brooklyn B West. Clara Barton is also 8-5.

BCAM 85, Leon Goldstein 51: Rasheem Jones had 20 points and Najee Chimming had 17 and nine rebounds for BCAM (8-6) in Brooklyn B West. Leon Goldstein is 4-9.

Brooklyn College Academy 79, Secondary School 52: Tarik Philip had 20 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, Onyema Utti added 19 points and 10 rebounds and Jamaal James had 16 points and 19 rebounds for Brooklyn College Academy (11-1) in Brooklyn B West. Secondary School is 7-6.

Bushwick 90, EBC/Bushwick Leaders 63: Jahseth Lloyd had 19 points and 20 rebounds, eight on the offensive glass, and Devon Carr had 17 points and 11 rebounds for Bushwick (11-0) in Brooklyn B East. EBC/Bushwick Leaders are 6-4.
