A middle-aged robber who targeted sex shops and ice-cream stores in Greenwich Village and Chelsea is being held in lieu of $1 million bail after being nabbed in connection with 10 crimes, authorities said.
Ex-con Lloyd Friedman, 55, was arraigned on charges of robbery and attempted robbery in Manhattan Criminal Court for the armed heists, officials said.
