Arm wrestling series to run on AMC

Get ready for a reality show about . . . wait for it . . . arm wrestling.

AMC will air “King of Arms,” a 10-episode series focusing on the members of arm-wrestling clubs in five cities — including New York (who knew?) — “as they hit the road and wager their rent money, reputations and even their relationships in pursuit of victory,” according to a company announcement.

The other cities to be featured are Baton Rouge, Erie, Sacramento and Kansas City. Each episode will culminate in a “high-stakes” arm-wrestling match.

The show is scheduled to premiere in the first quarter of 2014, according to AMC.
