‘Rape’ cops still collect salaries

The cops who allegedly raped a drunken women were slammed by Commissioner Ray Kelly for “outrageous” conduct that was “dispiriting” to the department, but they continue to collect their salaries — and don’t do any work for the money.

The two were suspended briefly after being arrested in December 2008, but they’ve been getting full-time pay since — about $150,000 for Kenneth Moreno and approximately $110,000 for Franklin Mata over the last two years.

All for doing nothing.

A source familiar with their situation said they check in each morning at One Police Plaza, then leave.

“The PD is so disgusted, they don’t want them anywhere near a police facility,” the source said. “They’re collecting a check, getting paid full-time. They do nothing.”

The NYPD did not respond to a request to confirm the officers’ pay.
