Marc Jacobs president continues buying spree

He’s one Duff customer

Robert Duffy, the president of Marc Jacobs, who just purchased the Astor Tea House (once part of the estate in Rhinebeck where Chelsea Clinton got married), is continuing his house-buying spree.

Duffy is in contract to buy 62 W. 12th St., which was asking $11.25 million. He is slated to close on the four-story elevator townhouse “any day now,” a source said.

The four-bedroom, 3½-bath 1839 Federal-style home comes with a deck, an 18-foot glass atrium that connects an open chef’s kitchen and family room, a 50-foot garden and a terrace off the master bedroom.

It is also close to the townhouse Duffy already owns that will go on the market shortly. Duffy was represented by Town Residential brokers Frank Arends and Daniela Zakarya.
