Pomegranate BBQ Baked Wings & Kale Slaw in Creamy Orange Aioli

20 wings
1 bottle BBQ sauce
1 bottle pomegranate molasses
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. ancho chili powder
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. cumin powder

Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to a low simmer for 10 minutes. Cool down and then toss wings with sauce in a large bowl. Place on a half sheet pan. Put in oven for 20 minutes at 325 degrees. Then put under broiler and caramelize for a minute.

Keep an eye on your wings so they don’t burn.

Take out and toss chopped chives on top to serve.

¼ cup fresh orange juice with zest of juiced oranges
1 lemon (juiced)
1 lime (juiced)
¾ cup canola oil
2 egg yolks
1 ginger knob (grated)
1 tbsp. mustard
2 quarts thinly julienned kale
1 cup shredded carrots
1 jalapeño (small dice)

Place ginger, juices, egg yolk and mustard in a food processor. Turn on and slowly pour oil in. When done, dressing should be creamy like a mayonnaise. Season with salt and place in an airtight container.

Place kale, carrots and jalapeño in a bowl and dress with orange aioli. Serve with your wings.

Enjoy!
