Woman tumbles out of window in Bed-Stuy, falls three stories

A woman fell out of a Brooklyn building’s third-floor window this morning and survived with minor injuries, authorities said.

She landed in the backyard of a building on Putnam Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant and loudly screamed for help, a witness said.

Her desperate pleas woke everyone in the building at 5:53 a.m.

“It sounded like she was in a lot of pain,” said Truman Sales, 55.

Another neighbor said she “landed on her knees” and seemed in shock.

“The crash sounded crazy. She must have fallen into some trash cans or something because her landing was so loud. Then she kept screaming, ‘Help, help,’ over and over,” said Tiffany Sweeten, 25.

Neighbors said she told them she was escaping a sexual assailant, but police said she was not attacked and did not make any such allegations to the cops.

A law-enforcement source said that she may have drinking when she took the tumble.
