Rayna (Connie Britton) has finally made up her mind. Her marriage to Teddy Conrad is over. As in dead. She tearfully tells her girls of her decsion — and finds comfort in the arms of an old friend. Gee, wonder who that might be. Juliette (Hayden Panetierre) is invigorated by the response to her new sound and takes steps to reinvent herself. Things are looking up for Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) when Rayna makes an offer to sign them to her label. While their hard work begins to show signs of success, Avery (Jonathan Jackson) is forced to consider an attractive offer. Also starring Powers Boothe as mean old Lamar Wyatt.

50 kinky sex moves

Can you write titillating, slightly voyeuristic cover lines like the one in the headline above? Then you might make it as an editorial assistant at Cosmopolitan. On this week’s “The Job,” five candidates — four female, one male — compete. Cosmo has 18 million readers and you can count on the magazine’s top editors — Joanna Coles and Joyce Chang — to be picky. Representatives from the guest companies that may offer these kids a job first are from ArchetypeMe, an innovative Web site that filters content based on who you are; Who What Wear, an online fashion magazine, and fashion news Web site Fashionista.

‘Swamp’ maneuvers

You will know that your life is really over if you spend Valentine’s Day watching “Swamp People.” But it’s on so we might as well tell you what’s up with the people down in Atchafalaya Swamp. Hurricane Isaac has created massive fish kills, flooded hunting grounds and new human predators — Texas interlopers in Pierre Part. Troy, Ron, RJ, Jay Paul, Liz, Junior, Jacob and Glenn Guist all return to the show. Among the action-packed highlights: Troy is forced to hunt with his eldest son, Brandon, who has come back to the swamp for the first time in 10 years. Liz loses her hunting partner, Kristi, so she goes hunting with her daughter, Jessica. Liz is pushing her luck: she is recovering from surgery and is hunting against doctor’s orders.

Ain’t love grand

What was your worst breakup? Did you get even, do something that would get you some jail time? Investigation Discovery, the channel that knows a thing or two about murder, reveals the breakup tactics taken by real people spurned by lousy lovers in a Valentine’s Day special that will either make you laugh or weep. Hosted by actress Tia Carrere, “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” will tell the stories of the brokenhearted and vengeful. In one story out of Oshkosh, Wisc., a woman lures her five-timing boyfriend to a seedy motel for some kinky sex. She ties him the bed and blindfolds him. And then this is where it gets good. She brings his other lovers — their gender is not mentioned— for an epic ambush that involves nail glue and — well, we’ll stop right there.

Ocean view to a Grammy

Some people say that there’s still talent left in the record business. And these people give out the Grammy Awards. All eyes this year will be on Frank Ocean, not because of his recent problems with public nuisance Chris Brown, but because of his highly regarded CD “Channel Orange.” Ocean is also nominated for Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Record of the Year (“Thinking ’Bout You”). Ocean has some stiff competition from The Black Keys, Fun., Mumford & Sons and Jack White, but he will definitely win one of those top prizes. The other nominees are mostly familiar faces. There’s Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Pink, Katy Perry, Adele and Bruce Springsteen. The host is LL Cool J (“NCIS: LA”) and there will be live performances at the Staples Center from The Lumineers, Taylor Swift and Rihanna, among others.
