A bizarre series of events culminated in a 27-year-old man’s arrest on a slew of charges, authorities said.

Officers stopped Arkiem McClain on Vanderbilt and Osgood Avenue in Clifton just before midnight Wednesday for allegedly driving his blue 2001 Pontiac with a bum headlight.

When he failed to provide identification and instead ran into the house of a woman who has a restraining order against him, the officers followed and found him hiding under a bed on which children were sleeping, sources said.

Cops dragged McClain out, but he wasn’t through resisting and had to be forcibly handcuffed, court papers state.

Once cops had him securely in custody, they discovered he was carrying 20 Ziploc bags of marijuana, according to the papers.

He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal contempt and resisting arrest, said a spokesman for District Attorney Daniel Donovan.

A gang of six women is suspected in a violent robbery in Far Rockaway, police said.

The gang (two of whom are pictured above) approached two women in the back of a building on Beach Channel Drive near Beach 32nd Street at 4:20 p.m. on Jan. 16, pummeled them and snatched their electronics, cops said.

They made off with an iPhone 5 and an iPod but not before a surveillance camera took the picture above of suspects fleeing into a subway station, authorities said.

Neither victim was seriously hurt, police said.
