Delpozo

The Who: Olivia Palermo and Lauren Santo Domingo sat front row in hot pink, gold-gilded chairs.

The What: This long-standing Spanish brand (it was founded in 1974), recently relaunched with newly appointed Creative Director Josep Font, who showed his wares for the brand’s first runway show at New York Fashion Week. Models cascaded down a red and pink floral print carpet in sculptural, minimal skirts and dresses with oversized copper, emerald and purple embellishments cascading down exaggerated sleeves (a prominent trend this week) and tunics that were paired with blush-colored tulle tutus.

The Highlight: Winter white frocks finished with floral appliqués, gold metal gems, and the the most delicate sheer white gloves.

The Takeaway: Blooming with fabrics with high impact color and volume, this collection is sure to enchant even the most timid wallflower.
