The Who: It was starlets in one front row and fashion arbiters on the other, with Nicole LaLiberte, Ashlee Simpson and Shailene Woodley sitting opposite J. Alexander, Patricia Field and Brad Goreski.
The What: Faux fur embellished the shoulders of a knit turtleneck, swathed a cropped vest, and circled two pencil skirts. The first ensembles were all black, then came gold and metallic fuchsia. Filigree adorned capes and gowns, and mesh was beaded to leave a few things to the imagination. Shoes were, of course, Christian Siraino x Payless.
The Highlight: A beaded mesh top paired with a gold swing skirt; daring meets demure.
