Quick-heist gang bags 700G in high-end purses

A slick crew of thieves swiped hundreds of designer handbags from ritzy Manhattan shops — sometimes using stolen cars to smash through shimmering storefronts, sources told The Post.

The quick-moving crooks — who were often in and out in 40 seconds — took more than $700,000 worth of luxe bags from roughly a dozen stores, including Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chanel, over the past year.

The purse-snatching professionals would break into stores, stuff the purses into a trash can and then bolt, cops said. The prime suspects in the heists are career criminals Mark Jordan, Anthony Rainey, Eric Orlowski — pals who grew up together in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, the sources said.

Detective José Morales of the NYPD’s Major Case Squad arrested the men in October on an unrelated stolen-property case in Queens after they were caught with 20 Louis Vuitton pocketbooks worth $47,920.

Jordan and Rainey both pleaded guilty to the charges.
