Royal ‘$crew’

A dashing Iranian prince-about-town says he was swindled by a French business partner who spent more than $500,000 of company funds to pay for his daughter’s day care, rent, cable bill, clothes and a Range Rover, according to a new legal petition.

Kamran Abbas-Vahid is the grandson of Princess Ashraf Pahlavi, the twin sister of the late Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who was overthrown in the Iranian Revolution of 1979.

Abbas-Vahid, 39, who lives in the West Village and also has a home in West Hollywood, signed on Frenchman and New York resident Charles Moreau, 33, as a partner in his Manhattan-based wine-importing business called Lions Wines in March 2011, records show.

But Moreau swapped company wine for free meals at posh restaurants, Abbas-Vahid charges.

Moreau said, “I’m a very, very good person. There is no case.”
