Passover cigarettes

JERUSALEM — Observant Jews in Israel craving a smoke during the weeklong Passover holiday that started at sundown last night can now enjoy a rabbi-approved puff.

For the first time, the Beit Yosef private rabbinical group — which certifies foods as “kosher for Passover” — approved three local cigarette brands for smoking during the holiday, which celebrates the biblical Exodus story.
