A man was in stable condition last night after a car slammed into him in Queens and then was driven away, according to police.
The victim was crossing 81st Street in Jackson Heights shortly before 8 p.m. when the Honda Odyssey hit him.
A witness said the victim was hit while in the crosswalk, and a passenger got out of the car and ran away as the driver took off.
The victim was sent to Elmhurst Hospital.
Police were looking for car’s occupants last night.
