Cops are looking for a woman , who is suspected of swiping a diamond ring from a Midtown jewelry store, authorities said.

The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was trying on jewelry at Eric Originals and Antiques on West 47th Street at 11 a.m. on March 1 when she asked to see a diamond ring, according to police.

After trying it on, the woman removed the ring and placed it on the counter. When the clerk turned away, the woman slid the ring into her purse and fled, cops said.

Cops said the suspect is white and of thin build with short black hair and glasses.

TBTA cops busted a motorist driving with phony license plates at the RFK/Triborough Bridge, law-enforcement sources said.

Officers stopped Ben Bey, 48, at the Manhattan toll plaza at 11:35 p.m. on March 13 after spotting the phony tags on his white 2001 Ford van, according to court papers.

Bey, whose driver’s license has been suspended more than 150 times, told cops he was a UN diplomat and thus entitled to the plates, sources said.

Bey kicked and punching the cops attempting to take him into custody, according to court records.

He also spent several days refusing to be fingerprinted at Central Booking because he claimed to be a sovereign citizen not bound by federal, state or local law, sources said.

Bey was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, obstructing governmental administration and unlicensed driving.

Cops busted two burglars who broke into apartments in lower Manhattan, Greenwich Village and the Upper West Side, authorities said.

Donald McLaurin, 44, and Antonette Davis, 36, allegedly took jewelry, credit cards and a laptop computer from an apartment on Fulton Street near Nassau Street on Jan. 12, according to court papers.

They also burglarized a home on West 13th Street near Sixth Avenue on Dec. 4, taking handbags, jewelry and a laptop, authorities said.

Their earliest known heist took place on Sept. 6 when they broke into an apartment on West 71st Street near Broadway and made off with a laptop and suitcase, records show.

The crooks tried their luck a second time at the 71st Street building on Dec. 4 but fled when they were spotted in the hallway, the court records show.

McLaurin and Davis were arrested on March 14 on burglary charges, records show.

Three cars struck a pedestrian and left her critically injured in Hunts Point, and cops are looking for two motorists who fled the scene, police said.

The 46-year-old woman was crossing Westchester Avenue at Faile Street at about 8:50 p.m. on March 8 when a dark sedan hit her, police said.

The force of the hit pushed the victim into the path of a 2011 Mercedes that struck her, then a burgundy-colored Dodge Durango hit her, cops said.

Only the driver of the Mercedes stopped to aid and comfort the victim, who’s in critical but stable condition at Lincoln Medical Center, cops said.

Queens

A thief attacked a woman in a Jamaica Hills subway station and stole her purse, police said.

A suspect followed the 27-year-old victim down the stairs and onto the platform of the 169th Street F-train station at about 6 a.m. on March 8, cops said.

He threw the woman to the ground, grabbed her pocketbook and fled, cops said.

The suspect is believed to be in his 30s, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 165 pounds.

Brooklyn

A woman was found fatally shot in the head in her Bensonhurst home, police said.

Responding officers found the body of Maryanne Rinato, 48, in the unlocked home on 19th Avenue near 67th Street at about 2:55 p.m. Wednesday after her boyfriend called 911, police said.

The body was found on a living-room couch with a bullet wound to the head, sources said.

Police are questioning the victim’s boyfriend and stepson, the sources added.

No gun was recovered at the scene, sources said.
