A shotgun-toting thug and his partner were caught on surveillance video stealing the cash register from a Bronx chicken joint — with the receipt tape streaming all the way out the front door.
The men calmly walked into the empty Kennedy Fried Chicken on Creston Avenue in Fordham Heights at 1 a.m. Thursday with a single-barrel shotgun.
The man with the gun is seen racking its chamber as he points it at employees.
“The worker went and hid in the back when he saw the gun,” said a manager who identified himself only as Jay.
The unarmed accomplice hopped onto the counter and ripped out the register, which held $500 in cash. He had stopped by 10 minutes earlier to case the joint.
“The little guy came in and bought chicken,” Jay said. “I think they waited outside for all the customers to leave, and then they came back and robbed the place.”
