A “sweetheart swindler’’ who has been on the lam for six years after swiping more than $800,000 from a lovesick elderly Queens man has finally been nabbed, authorities said yesterday.
Natasha “Munchkin” Marks was just 19 when she robbed now-91-year-old Louis Bruno of Howard Beach in 2006.
Marks jumped bail after pleading guilty in 2007 and was finally tracked down in Oklahoma. She’s set to appear in Queens Criminal Court today and faces seven years behind bars.
“The defendant has learned the old adage the hard way: You can run but you cannot hide from justice,’’ Queens DA Richard Brown said.
