Jackman ‘stalker’ burglary charge

She’s a burglar, not just a stalker, a Manhattan grand jury has decided of Hugh Jackman’s accused razor-flinging admirer.

Prosecutors have dropped a weapons charge but added a felony burglary charge against Katherine Thurston for allegedly barging into his West Village gym to harass him two weeks ago, according to a copy of the indictment obtained by The Post.

The new burglary count raises the stakes against the star-struck Thurston, 46, who lived in a Harlem shelter for the mentally ill and remains held at Rikers in lieu of $7,500 cash bail.

The felony count carries a mandatory year in jail, and alleges that she illegally followed the hunky “X-Men” star into the Gotham Gym on Washington Street in order to commit the crimes of stalking and harassment.

There is a silver lining for Thurston in the indictment — prosecutors have declined to pursue the original misdemeanor menacing and criminal weapons-possession charges involving the pubic-hair-filled black electric razor cops say Thurston pulled from her waistband and flung at the actor inside the gym.

Workers at the members-only gym had told cops that Thurston barged past the front desk to get to the “Les Misérables” Oscar nominee, and then refused to leave.

She is due to be arraigned May 8.
