A South Florida man charged with running a $13.6 million scam involving nonexistent shares in companies including Facebook and Groupon was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

Ponzi art sale

Bernard Madoff’s art, including carpets and works by Andy Warhol and Henri Matisse, will go to auction to raise money for customers of his Ponzi scheme, trustee Irving Picard said yesterday.
