The banker who killed a bride-to-be and her fiancé’s best man in a grisly boat crash has a history of reckless partying — and is shaking with guilt over his role in the tragic accident, friends told The Post yesterday.

A pal of JPMorgan Chase employee Jojo John said the gregarious party boy — who has a 2010 drug-possession conviction — enjoyed speeding around local waterways with friends after a few drinks.

That formula turned deadly Friday night when John, who faces a manslaughter rap and other charges, slammed the vessel into a construction barge and sent his close friends flying during a moonlight cruise down the Hudson. Rockland authorities said he had been drinking.

The accident killed Lindsey Stewart and best man Mark Lennon.

Her would-be groom, Brian Bond, suffered moderate injuries and remains hospitalized.

“He’s pretty messed up right now,” a source said of John, 35. “He knows he’s in trouble with all the charges, but right now he’s more devastated that his friends are dead.”

Friends said that the popular local was excited to take his pals for a spin as they approached their wedding day.

“He does like to go out and have a good time,” said pal Rena Respetio of John. “He’s a pretty happy-go-lucky guy.”

John performed community service and was placed on probation for a drug-possession rap in 2010, cops said.

He also faced a conspiracy charge but was not convicted, according to a police source.

John is aware that two of his closest friends are dead and has been stunned into silence at his hospital bed at Nyack Hospital while recovering from minor injuries, according to a police source.

Authorities say they suspect John was intoxicated at the time of the crash and are awaiting the return of blood-alcohol tests.

Lennon’s body was discovered by a jet skier yesterday a mile downstream from the site of the lethal collision, officials said.

Rescuers discovered Stewart’s corpse floating near the crash site Saturday.

Bond remains hospitalized and is expected to undergo surgery today, according to his father.

The group left the tony village of Piermont Friday for a short hop on the 21-foot Stingray to Tarrytown around 10:30 p.m., officials said.

With John at the helm, the boat struck a massive barge carrying construction materials for the new Tappan Zee Bridge.

Stewart, of Piermont, worked as a bartender and for a local insurance company.
