Rangers’ Taylor Pyatt feeling better after concussion

While Rick Nash remains on target for a return to the lineup either Tuesday at the Garden against the Bruins or Thursday in Dallas, concussed winger Taylor Pyatt is also progressing in his recovery.

Pyatt, who sustained his concussion Nov. 7 in Columbus on a second-period elbow from Fedor Tyutin, has had his symptoms subside over the last few days.

The Post has been told Pyatt has visited Michigan-based specialist Dr. Jeffrey Scott Kutcher, the same physician who examined Nash last month.

There is no timetable regarding a return to the ice for Pyatt, who has been sidelined for the last four games, including Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at the Garden to the Kings. Tyutin was assessed an elbowing minor on the play, but escaped supplementary discipline because Pyatt’s body was the primary point of contact.

Nash, meanwhile, skated for the ninth straight day on Sunday morning.

“With him, every day, he’s the one who will tell us where he’s at,” said associate coach Scott Arniel, who filled in for coach Alain Vigneault at the press briefing before Sunday’s loss. “He knows his body the best.

“If it’s Tuesday, that’s great for us; if he needs more days, we’ll be cautious with that.”

The Rangers didn’t have a kick coming when on-ice officials and video-replay officials in Toronto ruled Dominic Moore used his right skate blade to kick the puck into the net with 2:41 remaining in the third period, thus negating what would have been the tying goal if allowed to stand.

“He kicked it in,” Vigneault said in a matter-of-fact manner.

Derek Dorsett, who took a stick to the face Saturday night in Montreal, was hit in the chest by a Ryan McDonagh slap shot 30 seconds into the second period Sunday but did not miss a shift.

Justin Falk played 13:08 paired with John Moore for the second straight night while Michael Del Zotto sat out again.

“[Del Zotto] will have to be patient, but we haven’t given up on him,” Arniel said before the match. “We just want to keep those pairs rolling.”

Following Tuesday’s match, the Blueshirts have five on the road in Dallas, Nashville, Tampa Bay, Florida and Boston before returning to the Garden for a Nov. 30, Saturday afternoon match against John Tortorella’s Canucks.
