It looks like Miley Cyrus’s interest in hip-hop extends past twerking, with the pop star now taking a turn at rapping.
The former “Hannah Montana” actress is set to appear on the official remix of rapper French Montana’s hit single “Ain’t Worried About Nothing,” reports Miss Info. Though a release date hasn’t been announced for the song, the singer posted a video clip of her verse on Facebook last night.
Though the song bears little resemblance to the Cyrus’s pop work, there is a common thread between the remix and the singer’s latest single, “We Can’t Stop,” with both songs mentioning “Molly” – a slang term for a type of ecstasy frequently referenced in rap songs.
Possibly hoping to fend off criticism of her new found infatuation with the hip-hop world – in addition to Montana, the singer is also collaborating with Nicki Minaj, Future, and Big Sean – Cyrus tweeted the following at no one in particular last night: “i know what color my skin is. you can stop with the friendly reminders bitch.”
Cyrus’s latest album, “BANGERZ,” is due out this fall.
