He’s not just a monstrous dictator who tortures his people and threatens to nuke his neighbors — he’s also a dad.
North Korea’s pudgy crackpot leader, Kim Jong-un, is now the father of a baby girl, his new BFF,ex-NBA star star Dennis Rodman, has revealed.
The former Bulls forward — an occasional guest of the nuclear-armed despot — said that he got to hold the baby and that Kim and his wife, Ri Sol-ju, are loving parents.
“I held their baby, Ju-ae, and spoke with Ms. Ri, as well. He’s a good dad and has a beautiful family,” Rodman was quoted as saying by The Guardian newspaper.
Kim’s wife appeared to be pregnant in pictures issued last year by North Korea’s state news agency, although no confirmation was available. She then disappeared from public view, returning last October.
Kim, the third member of his family to rule North Korea, is believed to be about 30 and his wife 28.
The date of the baby’s birth was not revealed.
Given the traditional nature of North Korean society, it is unlikely that Ju-ae would succeed her father, although female relatives of Kim, such as his aunt, occupy key positions in government.
