Suspect arrested in May hate crime

One of the men who brutally attacked a gay couple at Madison Square Garden after a Knicks game last spring has been arrested, cops said.

Martin Martinez, 24, brutally punched and kicked Nick Porto and Kevin Atkins in the attack last May which was being investigated as a hate crime, according to police.

Martinez was just one of three other suspects who have been caught.

Cops are still searching for three other men in their 20s.

Martinez who is a Mount Vernon resident has no prior arrests in New York, cops said.

He was charged with assault as a hate crime and aggravated harassment, according to police.
