Six arrested in NFL house-trash party

Six teens and young adults were busted Thursday for breaking into a former NFL player’s upstate house and throwing a massive bash that was broadcast on social media.

The six accused party animals — ranging in age from 17 to 21 — were arrested after former New England Patriots offensive lineman Brian Holloway signed papers authorizing the local sheriff to bring charges for the Labor Day weekend blowout.

Holloway, who posted the Instagram and Twitter party pics on his own Web site, said one of the ringleaders was a young man he had taken in as a homeless teen.

“Everyone that broke the law, I’m pressing charges against,” Holloway said. “The parents had a chance and students had a chance to come forward, and only four did.”

The hulking offensive lineman said that after waiting more than three weeks for rowdy teens to take responsibility, he signed the papers at the Rensselaer County sheriff’s office.

The trashed house was Holloway’s vacation home in Stephentown near the Massachusetts border. The partiers did at least $20,000 in damage.

Police said a ringleader was Seth Hawk, 19, whom Holloway said he had taken into his family a few years ago.

Hawk faces felony charges of burglary and criminal mischief and misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawfully dealing with a child.

He’s accused of advertising the party and providing alcohol.

Three of the others arrested face felony charges, including burglary and larceny, and two were charged with misdemeanors, including trespassing.

Holloway said he posted photos of the bash on a Web site he created, helpmesave300.com, in an effort to get the teens to come forward and take responsibility for their actions.
