A five-year-old who was taken by her uncle from her Harlem home was found unharmed at the Apollo Theater, police said.
Ramel Robinson, 29, who has a history of drugs, assault and robbery, snatched little little Nijaey Hilton from her mother’s East 112th Street apartment, around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday.
A witness who saw her photo in media reports quickly upon seeing her with her uncle outside the famous performance hall on West 125th Street around 3:40 p.m., Wednesday, police sources said.
The 3-foot-tall, 32-pound school-girl, was wearing a school uniform, with gray stockings, a peach sweater, a white blouse and a blue jacket for her overnight adventure, which came to an abrupt end when cops returned the tot to her mother.
Police are questioning Robinson, who reportedly did not have permission to leave with the child. It was not immediately clear whether he would be charged.
