WHAT’S UP

TODAY
ALL IN THE FAMILY: See a music dynasty in action when the popular kids’ rock band AudraRox teams with Toxic Muffin, a band made up of kids, half of them Audra Tsano’s. Expect to hear the latter’s “I Can Do It by Myself” along with Toxic Muffin’s “Jimi Axl” when both groups rock The Yard, by the Gowanus Canal. Doors open at 1 p.m.; the music starts at 3 p.m., with arts and crafts and a barbecue in between. $12 per person, $30 per family. The Yard, 400 Carroll St., between Bond and Nevins; ticketweb.com.

MUSIC AND MO: Ideal for short attention spans, The Little Folks Festival has lots of stuff to keep small-fry occupied: music from the Bari Koral Family Rock Band, yoga, face painting, arts and crafts, and pizza. Good thing there’s a “nap zone” too, where overstimulated tots can crash. Noon to 2 p.m., $14 adults, $12 kids. Mo Pitkins, 34 Avenue A; (212) 777-5660

PRETTY SKETCHY: Forget the pencils. At The Big Draw, artists will lead workshops in using water, wood, yarn and even light to create images inspired by four downtown locations: Teardrop Park, the National Museum of the American Indian, the South Street Seaport Museum and the World Financial Center. Free sketchbooks will be given to participants of all ages; a shuttle bus will run between venues. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., free; rivertorivernyc.com.

TOMORROW
GET FUNKEY: As the composer for “Dora the Explorer,” Joshua Sitron knows a thing or two about crafting catchy kids’ music. Little wonder his band, The Funkey Monkeys, has audiences singing along at every show. 2 p.m., $15 for adults, $10 for kids. The Jewish Museum, 1109 Fifth Ave., at 92nd Street; (212) 423-3200.

BARNACLE BOP: Tail fins take on a whole new meaning at the New York Aquarium’s Sea Life Sock Hop, where doo-wop performances by a cappella group The Renditions (noon, 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.) put a ’50s spin on everything from sea lion shows to storytelling. Noon to 4 p.m., $12 for adults, $8 for kids. The New York Aquarium, Surf Avenue at West Eighth Street, Coney Island; (718) 265-FISH.
