A dapper Canadian man lost his cool at the Gansevoort Hotel restaurant and attacked two cops when he tried to walk out on the bill, cops said.

Daniel Engler,22, was dressed to impress in a pair of dressy black shoes, and a grey overcoat at The Chamber’s restaurant for some drinks on Ninth Ave. near Gansevoort St. on Friday around 11 p.m. but he tried to leave without paying, according to a criminal court complaint.

Engler ordered drinks and had a seat in the back with friends around 10:45 p.m. But 15 minutes later, he angrily stormed out of the joint without paying, cops said.

The bartender apprehended him outside moments after he allegedly shattered the front door glass while management flagged down cops.

Then he reached for both officer’s guns and punched them both. One of the arresting officers was sent to the hospital for a shoulder injury that required treatment, according to police.

Engler caused $250 worth of damage.
