The 2013 World Series was very, very good to Fox.
Boston’s six-game victory over St. Louis averaged nearly 15 million viewers on Fox, up 17 percent from last year (12.7 million viewers).
The series also posted double-digit increases in key male and adult demos.
Wednesday night’s Game 6 snared 19.2 million viewers as the Red Sox clinched their eighth World Series victory — and first in Fenway Park in 95 years.
“This baseball season has been a tremendous success across the board for Fox Sports,” Fox Sports president and COO Eric Shanks said in a statement.
