‘DREAM JOB’ ON HOLD FOR SCHOOL

ESPN’s “Dream Job” winner, Mike Hall, will graduate from college after all before starting his new gig as a “SportsCenter” anchor.

Hall, a senior at the University of Missouri, had told The Post that he might delay his graduation to immediately start his new, $95,000-a-year job at ESPN.

“We think that, for everyone involved, it’s best for Mike to tie up loose ends and finish with his college degree before making the move to [ESPN] headquarters in Bristol [Conn.],” an ESPN spokeswoman said yesterday. “It works best for everyone.”

Hall beat out 10,000 candidates – including three other college students – to win the reality show last Sunday, which included a new Mazda 3 as a prize.

ESPN had indicated that Hall would begin the job immediately, meaning he would have to delay his graduation.

Insiders say Hall met with ESPN brass on Tuesday, telling them he would prefer to graduate on time before starting his on-air job – a scenario to which they agreed.

“They figured why not? He only has seven weeks left, and during that time he can deal with the logistics of finding an apartment,” said one source.

“We can now say we have a 100 percent graduation rate,” said an ESPN spokesman.

Hall will appear on ESPN about once a week before he graduates in order to acclimate himself with the network and with the “SportsCenter” producers.
