BX. YOUTH OFF HOOK IN FATAL STABBING

A Bronx grand jury has decided not to bring charges against a 15-year-old boy who stabbed his mother’s fiancé to death after coming to her defense.

“The grand jury reviewed the evidence and listened to the testimony, and made a determination that a crime was not committed,” said Steve Reed, spokesman for Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson.

The teen, Turon Frisbey, came to his mother’s aid when Michael Harris, 46, was beating and choking the woman inside their Bronx apartment earlier this month.

According to police, Frisbey grabbed a knife and stabbed Harris once in the back.
