Samantha Daniels, founder of Samantha’s Table, a dating service for trendy, upwardly mobile New York singles, is launching an upcoming event which promises to bring out the Street’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.

The matchmaker is asking Wall Streeters to cast their votes for the best catches in the financial community by logging on to her Web site, SamanthasTable.com. The select few who make the “most eligible” list will be eligible to attend an invitation-only cocktail event on April 3.

Daniels declined to reveal the names of nominees, since the results aren’t final. So Bull’s Eye decided to cast the following votes of our own:

Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire CEO of Bloomberg News. The lucky lady who convinces him to walk down the aisle could find herself living in Gracie Mansion next year, since Bloomberg is mulling a run for New York City mayor.

Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels Corp. He’s been known to escort lovely ladies like pop singer Selena and Sarah Ferguson, the Dutchess of York to New York’s most exclusive parties.

Brian Brille, managing director at Banc of America Securities. This slick Wall Streeter has been compared favorably to perenially-tanned movie star George Hamilton.

M. Myers Mermel, CEO of TenantWise.com. This former investment banker at white-shoe firms like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs founded his own firm so he could find more time for his favorite vacation pursuit: slalom racing on the ski slopes of Switzerland.

Larry Marsh, a Lehman Brothers health-care analyst who recently got a flurry of publicity when he made Institutional Investor’s all-star research list.
