‘NCIS’ finds Ziva replacement

“NCIS” has found its replacement for Ziva (Cote de Pablo).

Emily Wickersham is joining TV’s top-rated drama as NSA analyst Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop — described as “a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism who specializes in international threat assessment and global preparation.”

Wickersham will make her first appearance as Bishop on the show’s Nov. 19 episode (8 p.m./Ch. 2).

On the episode, it’s discovered that the Secretary of the Navy was bugged during a confidential briefing.

Ellie, who had described just this type of security breach two years ago, is called in to work with the “NCIS” team, including leader Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) to weed out the culprit.

Wickersham has appeared in the movies “Gone,” “I Am Number Four” and “Remember Me.”

Her TV resume includes roles on “The Sopranos” — she appeared in the show’s 2007 series finale — FX’s “The Bridge” and “Gossip Girl.”

De Pablo, who played Israeli-born Mossad agent Ziva David, left “NCIS” earlier this season after eight years on the show.

“NCIS” co-stars Michael Weatherly, Sean Murray, Pauly Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll and Brian Dietzen. It’s averaging around 19 million viewers this season.
