Zac Efron isn’t the only former Disney Channel star disrobing for an upcoming film. Shia LaBeouf is too.
The 27-year-old actor, who got his start in the family network’s “Even Stevens,” tweeted a naked picture of himself from his latest film, “Charlie Countryman,” on Sunday.
Directed by Fredrik Bond, the film stars LaBeouf as a young American who falls in love with a mysterious girl (played by Evan Rachel Wood) on a trip to Romania. To add some spice to the plot, her ex just so happens to be a blood thirsty gangster (Mads Mikkelsen).
Unlike Efron, whose naked backside is on full display in last week’s NSFW trailer for “That Awkward Moment,” LeBeouf’s nudity is only hinted at during the clip.
Prior to the tweet, most of the film’s publicity had been due to LeBeouf admission to MTV that he’d tried acid in preparation for scenes in the movie where he and Rupert Grint, of “Harry Potter” fame, trip on the drug.
“Charlie Countryman” is due out November 15.
