A-Rod team tries for ‘home field’ court venue

There’s a court battle brewing between Alex Rodriguez and Major League Baseball — over which court to slug it out.

Jordan Siev, a lawyer for the Yankees star, notified Manhattan federal Judge Lorna Schofield Friday that A-Rod’s legal team wants to move his lawsuit — which claims MLB and Commissioner Bud Selig are on “witch hunt” to force him out of baseball — back to where it was originally filed, in Manhattan Supreme Court.

His motion would challenge one that MLB filed three weeks ago, which moved the case to federal court, where judges historically are tougher.
