Restaurant makes sure customer gets ‘no f—king shrimp’

It’s nice to come across a restaurant which takes a keen interest in the well-being of its customers.

Still, this particular establishment could have expressed its concern more elegantly.

A customer of the unidentified Chinese restaurant posted an image of their receipt on imgur after they spotted a frank instruction to the kitchen on it.

The customer, who is allergic to seafood, had ordered the “rice special” for a tidy $9.40. One staff member clearly wasn’t in the mood for negligent manslaughter.

“No f–king shrimp or he die,” read a capitalized, underlined note on the receipt.

“Was looking at the bill from my Chinese dinner and found this,” the customer said online. “It’s worth mentioning I have a severe seafood allergy.”

OK. The message wasn’t exactly subtle, and it probably shouldn’t have appeared on the customer’s receipt. But the fact that our protagonist is still alive clearly indicates the system worked.

So really, this is an example of customer service at its finest.
