18 years for robbing ‘Linen King’

One of the thugs convicted of burglarizing millionaire “Linen King” George Bardwil’s posh Turtle Bay townhouse in 2011 was sentenced to 18 years in state prison Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Samuel Brimmage and three pals tricked their way into Bardwil’s swanky East 51st Street pad and at gunpoint tied up the wealthy party boy and two of his friends.

One of the robbers dashed into Bardwil’s lavishly furnished bedroom, broke into the safe hidden under his bed and swiped $300,000 worth of designer watches, diamond jewelry and cash.

“I believe this sentence is crazy,” Brimmage whined to Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Laura Ward. “18 years? Everyone else in this case is getting 11 years.”

The 26-year-old is already serving a 12-year sentence for assault in an unrelated case.
