EAST HARLEM SEX ATTACKER GETS 12 YRS.

A serial sex attacker of young East Harlem girls was sentenced yesterday to 12 years in prison after prosecutors argued that “no amount of time could ever be sufficient to heal their pain.”

Kareem Miller, 25, of Jamaica, Queens, begged for forgiveness, then was led out to begin serving a sentence promised by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Herbert Altman in a prior plea agreement.

Miller could have faced up to 25 years in prison had he not admitted his guilt and been convicted at trial of attacking five girls, ages 11 to 16.

“His violent acts terrorized the community,” assistant DA Michele Shulman said.
