Who are your heroes?
My parents! For me, raising one child is a challenge. They raised three of their own and then adopted three more – while working full time, coaching our teams and doing laundry until 1 a.m. Bless their hearts.
Is there a book or movie that has changed your life?
I don’t believe that a single book or movie has the power to change a life. Any art, at its best, can inspire new ideas and lead one down a new path that may inevitably lead to change.
What was your worst day ever?
As a child, the day I realized I couldn’t have a monkey as a pet.
What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?
I would have been a fashion designer or a photographer.
